We stumbled across this gem for lunch after shopping. It was fantastic food. We asked them to organize the menu for our large party and it was amazing. Try the wild boar ragu and the ravioli with porchini! The family speaks English-which was great for us!

A hidden gem in the wild! Welcomed with a smile, paper tablecloths (and, if busy, you might share a table), wine by the jug, today’s specials behind the glass, and the wonderful smells of an authentic kitchen. Expect to see workers on their lunch-break, for this is food for journeymen.A reasonably broad menu based on good ingredients that have been carefully cooked.Do not ignore Il ghiotto beccaria!

Great trattoria with authentic and tasty food. We stopped there on out way to Rome and it was a great choice. The umbricelli were delicious and there are plenty of vegetarian options. The service was also very friendly and fast. Would love to go back to try other dishes!

The local artists go here for lunch or get take-away. Totally unpretentious and casual. Fair sized lunch offering. The roast pork was to die for. Lunch for two with one wine was 20 Euro. You can’t beat that anywhere. I little difficult to find. Use google maps.

This is a nice local type restaurant that serves up amazing dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. It can be busy so come early. The service was excellent, they looked after us very well. The food was authentic, abundant and the menu was quite large. Prices were excellent for the quality and size of the dishes.

Excellent food and service. A hidden gem off the main drag in Deruta. A welcome respite after a busy morning shopping for ceramics. Will be back!

A gem. This is an authentic local family owned trattoria, with traditional delicious food and very friendly (English speaking!) service. We had lunch during our recent visit to Deruta in June 2021. It is within a walking distance from Sberna Ceramiche (also highly recommended!). We loved everything, from the home made dishes to the pleasant ambiance and the authentic feeling. This is a hidden gem that was filled with locals at lunch. We arrived at 130 which was perfect to grab a table for 2 and get a ravioli and pasta dish. It was good and the servers were friendly.
